I'm Nichole.

I'm the owner of Divinity Births, and I serve women in pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I believe that birth is a natural event that takes place most safely when a woman is supported as the sole decision maker in where, how and with whom she will birth. I believe, above all, that women are autonomous, wise and powerful and more than capable of birthing their babies in the way that they deem is best for them.

My job is to support you through your journey, to provide you with resources and to remind you of your voice as you travel through the sacred space of pregnancy and birth. I offer pre-natal visits to discuss how I can best assist you and your partner, and provide continuous physical and emotional support throughout your labor.

Every woman, regardless of circumstance or birth choices deserves love and unbiased support. As your doula, I work for you and YOU only, and will provide this and more.

I am native to North Platte, NE and am a wife and mother of two. Through the beginning of my first pregnancy I found the lack of support and education that surrounded chid bearing to be incredibly concerning. Surrounded by horror stories and fear based thinking I decided that there had to be a better, more productive way to enter into the sacred space of motherhood. That is when I found the woman that would be my doula. She was loving and attentive to my needs and fears and became an amazing source of knowledge though my pregnancy. I freebirthed my first son in September, 2016 with the unbiased, steady support of her and my husband. When he came earthside my view of motherhood forever changed. I felt like the most powerful woman in the world.

If I could do this, I could do anything.

I came to the conclusion that every woman deserved the special kind of care and support that can only be provided by sympathetic women. Women deserved MORE. I decided then that I would be the change that I wanted to see.

My Philosophy

I believe above all that the wisdom of the birthing woman must always be respected. A woman that remains autonomous and supported is in the best position to make decisions for herself and her baby.

Pregnancy and labor are natural processes that work best when the mother feels safe and loved. Every woman, regardless of race, religion, creed or birthing choices deserves support through her own unique journey. As a doula, I believe that my job is to support you. I will work for you, not your care provider, mother, employer or anyone else. A laboring mother deserves for her desires and needs to be met above all others and to have her birthing space remain sacred.
